Monimeter
See your money. Grow your money.
A money planner for anybody in Nigeria who earns — people who sell in the market,
shop owners, people paid at the end of the month, tailors, mechanics, drivers,
students, and people whose money changes from week to week.

What Monimeter does
Most people who earn in Nigeria know how much came in today. What is hard is knowing
where it went, and whether what is left is enough. Monimeter answers that in one screen,
without percentages, spreadsheets or bank words.
You write down money as it arrives. Monimeter takes off what the goods cost, then shares
what is really yours into four pots, by a rule you choose. The rule is written the way
money is actually counted — naira out of every ₦1,000, not percentages.
Out of every ₦1,000 you keep
- 🏠 Home & Living — ₦400. What it costs to live: food, rent,
transport, school fees. Most of your money belongs here, and that is normal.
- 🧺 Grow My Shop — ₦300. The money that keeps your work going:
goods to sell, tools, transport to the job. A student sees School & Books
instead, because that is what keeps their work going.
- 🔒 Keep Safe — ₦200. Money you do not touch. For the day something
breaks, and for the thing you are saving towards.
- 🌱 Make Money Work — ₦100. Money that should make more money.
Small, and last.
That sharing is one of several ready-made ones — Market Mama, Salary Steady, Family
First, Small Start, Student Plan, Big Plan — and you can design your own, name the pots
in your own words, and change the sharing any day. Changing it never rewrites what you
already recorded.
How it works, step by step
- Money came in. Tap the one big button and say where it came from:
sales, a salary, a job you did, ajo or contribution, a gift, or other money.
- How much. Tap the notes as you count them — ₦1,000, ₦500, ₦200,
₦100 — or type the figure, because ₦4,500 and ₦15 are money too.
- What the goods cost. Only asked when that money had goods behind it.
Take it off, and what is left is really yours. A gift is never asked this.
- See the sharing, then keep it. Monimeter shows exactly how the money
is about to be split, to the naira. Nothing is saved until you agree.
- When you spend, say so. Which pot the money left, and how much,
so the pots keep telling the truth.
The meter
One dial for the month. It compares what your own plan said you would keep against what
you have actually kept, and says it in one sentence: “Your plan said ₦15,000. You are
ahead of it. Well done.” Green when you are keeping to your plan, amber when you are
close, red when you are behind. It is your plan you are measured against — nobody else’s.
Made to be used by anybody
- No percentages anywhere. Everything is naira out of every ₦1,000.
- English, Nigerian Pidgin and Yorùbá, changed at any time.
- Pictures on every choice, so a screen can be used by somebody who
reads slowly.
- A walk-through on first open that points at the real buttons and
explains each one, and a “How?” button to see it again.
- Every day can be fixed. Recorded the wrong figure? Open the week,
tap the day, change it or remove it.
Your records, and your money
- Monimeter never holds your money. It is not a bank, a wallet or a
savings app. It sells no investment and takes no commission. Your money stays where it
already is.
- It works with no network once it is on your phone. Every record is
written to the phone first.
- Your records are kept for you, so a lost or changed phone is not lost
records. Sign in on any phone with your number and your four digits, and they come back.
- The four digits never leave your phone as digits.
Where money can grow
Monimeter includes an honest ladder of what Nigerian money can actually do, from ₦1,000
upwards — ajo and cooperatives, money market funds, buying goods in bulk — each with what
can go wrong said plainly, and a flat warning about the schemes that promise doubling.
Monimeter sells none of them and earns nothing from any of them.
What it costs
Free for seven days from the day you register. After that, ₦2,000 one time and it
is yours for life — no monthly fee, no subscription. Whatever you decide, your
records stay and nothing is deleted.
Who built it
Monimeter is a product of Persivera Health Limited, Ibadan, Nigeria.
It does not hold your money and does not sell any investment.
